Over the weekend I took part in Annas Craft Cupboards 11th party celebrations.
There were many games and challenges such as bingo, taking selfies, making party hats, and birthday cards etc.
I did some of those but I also did the Cyber blind crop. We were told what we need in supplies a week before we did the blind crop and then were given instructions online. At the end everyone had made the same basic layout by using their own choice of colours etc. It was so much fun. Heres the one I made
These 3 cards are for my sketch challenge. They had to be suitable for an older gentleman and had to be muted tones- there is supposed to be some stripes on there but Im hoping checks will count. All Kaisercraft bits n bobs
Any crafter that knows me well, will know that I have an obsession about keeping every little bit of paper. Once a workshop has finished I can often been found digging around the scraps others have tossed in the trash to rescue them for projects like this.
This is such an easy and for me, satisfying thing to do. I buy sheets of double sided paper and lay my strips in pattern. These can be used for backgrounds or made into embellishments.
It makes me so happy to see my scraps being used and not just tossed out. The thing is I always seem to have tons of scraps, my pile never diminishes lol.
A good friend of mine is about to turn the big 70. Her favourite colour is purple. I mad this out of my many scraps lol
Yes more pop up cards lol. I made so many I decided to make a little box to put them in for a gift. Its so cute and so easy! Pizza boxes are just fab. All of this is made with left over papers :D
Superhero Dad- have fond memories of this pic. My son made my hubby his Batman suit ( or as we call it Fatman suit lol) . It was a deal that if he made it for him he would wear it to last years comicon- that meant going on the train and walking through the city- he did it!! My son made his Spiderman suit and my younger son made the sword out of real wood and the holder for it too, which is quite ornate

This is a page I scraplifted and adapted for my own use. Its for the RSPCA paws for walk that we do every year. We got 2 of our dogs at the shelter and they have turned out to be fab dogs. Our little Jack Russell we got after friends decided they didnt want her anymore- needless to say they arent friends any more.
Sadly she is now 13 and has cancer and we are now deciding what is best for her. Its a hard decision for anyone but when the kids love her so, its even harder.
This is supposed to be a Tri fold card, but I got the measurements wrong lol. It turned out well though and I used the Kaisercraft paper which I have made into a Fathers day card for my dad of course.
I LOVED making these cards. They are so effective when you open them the little book part pops out. Have a look here.

This was my card challenge - it was a colour board of coral, navy and aqua. I found this quite hard but used Kaisercraft stickers and paper and also a Kaszazz feather stamp.
